How do I onboard my restaurant and complete initial setup?

Onboarding is designed to be fast and covers four main steps:

  1. Register & Verify — Create the restaurant account (name, address, tax ID) and verify the owner’s identity.
  2. Menu & Recipes — In Menu → Add Item, create dishes with name, description, category, price and photos. Link each dish to ingredients in Inventory → Ingredients (see Recipe Builder) so costs and stock tracking start immediately.
  3. Staff & Permissions — Under Admin → Users, invite staff by email, assign roles (Kitchen, Manager, Finance) and set granular permissions (view orders, manage payouts, edit menu).
  4. Tables, Payments & Testing — Configure table QR codes under Tables. In Payments, verify bank/payout settings and choose payout frequency. Run a test order (place an order via the customer app) and confirm it appears on the dashboard;

Tips:

  • Upload menu images and ingredients before opening to avoid stock mismatches.
  • Schedule a short staff training session.
